Wire Chopping
Our facility handles the processing of wire for copper recovery. We begin the process by sourcing the insulated wires from the households and industrial sector. After that, we take the raw material and split the wire from the insulated jacket to separate the plastic and rubber. The wire is then chopped and goes into a wash cycle to remove any plastic and oil residue. Because plastic is less dense than copper, the washing procedure helps to also separate the plastic from the copper. After washing, the copper chop goes through a drying cycle, gets packaged and shipped to smelters.
Copper Bearing Recovery
For copper bearing recovery, we source the material from various auto scrap yards and metal recyclers. The scrap is first sorted in inspected for any reusable units. The remaining scrap are then dismantled for the metals such as copper and aluminum. After dismantling, the material is processed by a smelter who will process the metals ready for use by the manufacturing industry.
Automotive Remanufacture
The remanufacturing process begins with a scrap lot being inspected and sorted by quality and model type. Once each unit is sorted, they are sent off to be rebuilt, undergoing various tests to ensure that the unit can meet the strict standards to perform as well as an OEM unit. After testing, the units are packaged and ready for use in the auto remanufacturing market.
